SPECIAL EVENTS:
- ComedySportz presents Improv Madness throughout March; a bracketed tournament of unique teams battling for the ultimate prize: bragging rights! The ComedySportz ensemble has been broken up into areas of expertise, and will participate in three rounds of play in the first part of the month, culminating in semi-finals on Friday, March 25, 8 p.m., and Saturday, March 26, 6 p.m., with the championship match also on March 26 at 8 p.m.

- CSz Sketch Night is a new revue, three 30-minute segments in one show, running Wednesdays at 8 p.m. throughout March (3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, and 3/30), featuring ComedySportz ensemble improvisers who also write: Meg Grunewald, who has over 19K followers on her Vine channel, will present her character-driven one woman show most recently seen at the Chicago Sketch Comedy Fest; Kevin Pomeroy and Abram Rabinowitz will perform in "MAN 1 MAN 2"; and the real-life couple of Matt Castellvi and Stacey Smith offer "Going Steady!" Tickets are $8 (or $4 for students with ID).
- On St. Patrick's Day, Thursday, March 17, the regular 8 p.m. ComedySportz show will "go green" with special Irish-themed games and drink specials.
- CPS Spring Break Show. ComedySportz will add a show during the Chicago Public Schools Spring Break Week, on Tuesday, April 19, at 2 (TWO) p.m. Tickets are $23. Also, ComedySportz is slated to run improv summer camps for kids and adults in July and August - contact 773-549-8080 for details.

FESTIVAL:
- Chicago Improv Festival. ComedySportz will participate on May 3, 2016, with the "1 World, 1 Stage" event.
Additionally, CSz Worldwide has appointed Chicago ensemble member Nicole Devin as the Diversity and Inclusion chair, coordinating with CSz companies around the world on initiatives to be more inclusive and promote diversity on stage and in the house.
Born in Iowa, Devin lived in Milwaukee for 20-some years, where she was a ComedySportz player from 2004-2010 and also hosted an AM morning drive talk show. Since moving to Chicago in 2009, she has studied improv and completed both the iO Theatre training program and The Second City's conservatory. Devin became a member of Chicago's ComedySportz ensemble in 2012, and has also performed for three years at the Playground Theatre with "Peach of the Neighborhood," as well as at pretty much every family function she attends.
