Center for Performance Research (CPR) will host its Annual Benefit Performance and Celebration tonight, May 19, 2015 at 6:30pm. The evening will commemorate CPR's Sixth Anniversary and the recent completion of its new LED theatrical lighting system, procured through the generous support of New York City's Department of Cultural Affairs with additional backing from the Mertz Gilmore Foundation. Since 2009 CPR has supported more than 20,000 hours of subsidized rehearsal space, 3,488 hours of arts and movement classes for adults and kids, and 440 evenings of performance. Last year alone, CPR served over 300 individual renters and reached an audience of 2,572. Join us in celebration with a pre-show toast and very special performances by Joanna Kotze and Niall Jones, followed by an after party with drinks and refreshments provided by local Brooklyn restaurant No.7 North and Sixpoint Brewery.

The event will take place at CPR's Brooklyn venue at 361 Manhattan Avenue. Tickets are $50 in advance and at the door, and artist tickets are available for $25. A portion of each ticket will be tax deductible. More information is available at http://www.cprnyc.org/events/benefit/.
