The COME HOME AMERICA PROJECT to honor America's military heroes, a grassroots mission created by acclaimed NYC jazz vocalist-songwriter MARCUS GOLDHABER to #bridgethegap between civilians and military families, will reach a significant milestone next week with a spotlight performance as part of AMERICA'S PARADE!, the 2015 New York City Veterans Day Parade.

Backed by the COME HOME AMERICA BAND, Goldhaber will be an AMERICA'S PARADE participant, singing his original anthem, "Come Home America," and other new compositions to honor the troops, as the ONLY official musical performance at the AMERICA'S PARADE Veteran's Village.

THE COME HOME AMERICA PERFORMANCE is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11, from Noon to 3 p.m., at the AMERICA'S PARADE Veteran's Village, East 53rd St., between 5th & 6th Aves. More info at www.americasparade.org.

This is the second consecutive high profile NYC event for the COME HOME AMERICA PROJECT. Goldhaberpreviously brought the COME HOME AMERICA PROJECT to the sold-out Cutting Room in New York City last year in anofficial Fleet Week Event that was singled out by the New York Times.

"We are a grateful nation, but we can certainly take better care of each other through a deeper understanding of what it is like to be a veteran in this country," says Goldhaber. "I'm very proud of the connections we've made as this project continues to grow and I look forward to honoring our veterans."

Says Joseph P. Brooks, president and COO of Liberty USO: "Marcus Goldhaber has a precious vision to embrace and support our troops and veterans with his rousing anthem as the soundtrack. It's the start of a movement, and being on the ground floor we stand tall in not only participating, but urging everyone to join with us as it spreads across the country."
