Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed production of COLLECTED STORIES, written by Donald Margulies and directed by Lynne Meadow, will begin its final week of performances tonight at 7 PM at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The production will play the final performance of its extended limited engagement on Sunday, June 13 after playing 55 regular performances and 21 previews.
COLLECTED STORIES began previews on Friday, April 9 and opened on Wednesday, April 28. This Broadway premiere was honored by critics for Margulies' play, Meadow's direction, and the performances of Tony nominee Linda Lavin and Sarah Paulson. Below is a sampling of the notices for the production:
