COFFEE: THE MUSICAL Aiming for Broadway Run

An exciting new musical about he most mundane of topics is currently in the works. Titled COFFEE: THE MUSICAL, the show is aiming for a Broadway run later in the year. According to a press release for the production, the show will feature "an original musical soundtrack, dancing, singing, topical coffee talk, love stories, and the preparation and enjoyment of coffee."

Producer Robert Galinsky writes: "COFFEE the musical, taps into the current zeitgeist and excitement associated with café culture and the social media frenzy that's connected to it. What I can tell you now about the show (can't give it all away just yet) is: the show is set in a warm inviting coffee shop, stocked with six dynamic characters, an incredible original musical soundtrack of a dozen songs, dancing, singing, an abundance of topical coffee talk, love stories and of course... coffee brewing and drinking!"
