As the festivities proceed and the tequila flows, can the power of meet cutes and makeover montages save the day as relationship drama and career crises bubble to the surface? Celebrating the healing power of sisterhood, laughter, and life lessons from the movies we know and love, Chick Flick the Musical is ultimately about life's greatest love story: friendship. Casting for Chick Flick the Musical will be announced in the coming weeks.

"I wrote Chick Flick the Musical as a love letter to chick flicks because they celebrate female friendship and hope," said Suzy Conn. "Personally, I need happy endings to get through my days and there's nothing like a good chick flick to deliver that hit of endorphins. I was excited to explore the iconic conventions of this emotion-based genre because they have created a shared language between women. Using that shared language enabled me to convey a message of empowerment in a fun and entertaining way. Delivering this story of friendship as a piece of live musical theatre is the perfect way to honor this shared sisterhood - seeing Chick Flick the Musical with an audience of fellow chick flick lovers will be a unique bonding experience. As Cher says in Mamma Mia Here We Go Again - 'That's the best kind of party, little girl.'"
