Direct from her debut engagement with the London production of CHICAGO, on Monday, February 8, 2010, the Broadway cast of the Tony Award-winning musical will welcome Terra C. MacLeod for an eight-week return engagement as Velma Kelly through Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the Ambassador Theatre.
MacLeod will appear opposite
Michelle Williams as Roxie Hart, who also begins a limited engagement on Monday, February 8, as previously announced.
Terra C. MacLeod has a long history with Velma Kelly, having starred in the French world premieres of CHICAGO in Montreal (2003) and Paris (2004), in addition to prior engagements with the Broadway production and the national and international touring productions.
She is currently making her West End debut as Velma Kelly at London's Cambridge Theatre, a two-month engagement that concludes on Sunday, February 7.
MacLeod's other recent stage credits include Gladys in The Pajama Game at Musical
Theatre West (Los Angeles) and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls at the San Diego Musical Theatre.
She is the recipient of the Jessie Richardson Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Anita in the Vancouver Arts Club production of West Side Story.
Her various television and film credits include The Lizzie Maguire Movie, The Reagans, "The Dead Zone," "Jeremiah," "Cold Squad" and "Life or Something Like It."

Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.
