The Broadway company of CHICAGO is pleased to announce details for the March 2009 installments of "Talkback Tuesdays," the unique new series offering post-show discussions and audience Q&A sessions with members of the Broadway company of the record-breaking hit musical.

Designed to provide theatergoers with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of CHICAGO, the next "Talkback Tuesdays" offering is set for Tuesday, March 10, featuring a post-show conversation with two-time Tony Award nominee and the show's current Roxie Hart, Charlotte d'Amboise.

And on Tuesday, March 24, Amra-Faye Wright and Carol Woods, Broadway's current Velma Kelly and Matron "Mama" Morton, will pair-up to do a joint talkback (see below for biographies).

Also on Tuesday, March 24, CHICAGO will celebrate a major milestone, when it surpasses Rent to become the seventh-longest running production in Broadway history, with 5,125 performances.

Tickets for "Talkback Tuesdays" performances are available by calling Telecharge.com at 212-239-6200.

Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Ambassador Theatre Box Office, located at 219 W. 49th St. Regular Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Charlotte d'Amboise made her debut as Roxie Hart in 1997 with the first national tour of CHICAGO. For that performance, she earned the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, the Los Angeles Ovation Award and the Bay Area Theatre Circle Award.

Since then, she has played Roxie Hart more than 2,000 times, on Broadway (1,250+ performances) and on various national tours (750+ performances) -- more than any other actress in the show's history.

Most recently, d'Amboise was nominated for a Best Featured Actress Tony Award for her performance as Cassie in the revival of A Chorus Line. She received her first Tony Award nomination in 1989 for her performance in Jerome Robbins' Broadway.

The daughter of legendary choreographer Jacques d'Amboise, her other Broadway credits include Sweet Charity and Damn Yankees, each of which earned her a Fred Astaire Award; Can-Can with City Center Encores!; Contact; Company; Carrie; Song and Dance and Cats.

Since 2005, Amra-Faye Wright has played the role of Velma Kelly in productions of CHICAGO throughout the world -- including Broadway, London's West End; Johannesburg and Capetown, South Africa; and on tour throughout Europe and the United Kingdom.

She also took part in both the Broadway and London 10th Anniversary productions of CHICAGO.

Wright's other international theatrical credits include Vi Moore in Footloose (UK Tour), Sandy in Grease (Johannesburg Superbowl), Sheila in A Chorus Line (Civic Theatre, Johannesburg) and others.

She has written and performed several one-woman shows, including It's Not Where I Start, Drinks on Me and Rouge Pulp. www.Amra-Faye.com

On the big screen, Carol Woods appeared as a featured soloist in Julie Taymor's hit film Across the Universe, performing a celebrated gospel rendition of the iconic Beatles' hit "Let It Be," which she later reprised to great acclaim on the 2008 Grammy Awards broadcast.

Her other feature films include Steam, Sweet and Lowdown, Honeymooners and Stepping Out.

In addition to CHICAGO, Woods' Broadway and National Touring credits include The Full Monty, One Mo' Time, Follies, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Stepping Out, The Goodbye Girl, Grind, Big River and The Crucible.

Her London stage credits include Blues in the Night (Olivier nomination) and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.

On television, Woods has appeared in "The Practice," "Third Watch," "Law & Order" and as a series regular on "Parent Hood." www.CarolWoodsOnline.com
