According to the New York Post, legendary designer Bob Mackie has been forced to bow out of Cher's upcoming 'Dressed to Kill' World Tour due to time constraints and prior commitments.
Mackie, who has designed gowns and accessories for the Grammy and Oscar-winning singer for the past 42 years, had originally signed on to desgin Cher's outfits for the tour back in Spetpember.
Cher took to Twitter yesterday to share the disappointing news with her fans."The man who made all my costumes since 1972 decided he couldn't do my last tour," she tweeted. "No matter how disappointed any of u are, you don't know my grief .?.?. Felt I had to tell you. I'm crying."
Cher recently announced that she would kick off her "Dressed To Kill" 49 city North American Tour beginning in Phoenix on March 22nd with stops in NY, LA, Boston, Las Vegas, and other major markets. Cher's previous tour "The Farewell Tour" later dubbed "The Never Can Say Goodbye Tour" was one of the most successful tours ever by a solo artist and played for a record-breaking 325 dates and seen by over 5.5 million people.
