CFDA and eBay Battle 'Fake Fashion' With Designer Handbags

For the third year running, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and eBay have teamed up on the You Can't Fake Fashion campaign. This years bag designers include Diane von Furstenberg, BCBG, Prabal Gurung and Alice + Olivia.

After two successful collaborations, eBay and the CFDA are working together once again to raise awareness against counterfeit goods and celebrate original design within the fashion industry. Following an exclusive preview during New York Fashion Week S/S 2013, the new collection of totes, including one-of-a-kind designer totes customized by 90 of America's foremost designers, will be sold exclusively on eBay beginning March 18, with all proceeds benefitting the CFDA Foundation.

Combating the supply and demand for counterfeits and those who manufacture and distribute such items requires the coordinated efforts of the government, the fashion industry, law enforcement, businesses, and Internet users like you.
