'Bway to Baghdad' to Feature The Times They Are a-Changin'

"Broadway to Baghdad" will help support the WA service officer program.  There will be a USO-type show featuring a "Thank you for Serving" video at the HBO Home Box Office Theatre in Times Square followed by a special viewing of the new Broadway musical The Times They Are A Changin' on Tuesday at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, October 17,  5:00 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.

"'Broadway to Baghdad,'" state press notes, "will run from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and will feature special event performances, patriotic pageantry and an awards ceremony featuring a 'Thank You for Serving' video, which will be presented to troops throughout the world. Attendees will then immediately be escorted to a special viewing of The Times They Are A Changin,' the new Broadway musical craeted by Tony-award winning choreographer Twyla Tharp, based on the music of Bob Dylan.

Refreshments will be served prior to show time. All proceeds will go to the Vietnam Veterans of America and Vietnam Veterans Assistant Fund. Individual tickets, $150.00, and sponsorship packages, $1,000.00, are available through the Vietnam Veterans Assistant Fund.
