'Bway in Bryant Park' Ends with 'Bee,' Fantasticks, Etc.

New York's One and Only Lite Music Station, 106.7 Lite fm, will conclude its free lunchtime series this week with "106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park" on Thursday August 10th at 12:30 PM on the Bryant Park Stage with performances from the casts of Drumstruck, The Fantasticks, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Actors' Fund.

The free lunchtime performances took place on the lawn of Bryant Park every Thursday from July 6th through August 10th. Each week the show featured live performances from some of the hottest on and off-Broadway shows, and was hosted by popular 106.7 Lite fm personalities.

This week, "Broadway in Bryant Park" will feature performances by The Fantasticks' Leo Burmester, Santino Fontana, Sara Jean Ford, Burke Moses, Martin Vidnovic, with Dorothy Martin at the piano, and Spelling Bee's Barrett Foa, Jose Llana, Lisa Howard, Celia Keenan-Bolger and Maurice Murphy.  In addition, a medley of songs from past Actors' Fund benefits will be offered by Angie Schworer, Rachelle Rak, Christina Norrup, Amber Efe, and Kate Coffman, Shoshana Bean, and Jose Llana.

The Bryant Park stage is located at 6th Ave. between 40th and 42nd Street, behind the NY Public Library.  In case of severe weather, Broadway in Bryant Park will be cancelled. Consult www.1067litefm.com for details and up to the minute changes.
