ActorCrafts will take place Saturday, April 29th (10AM-6PM) in the gymnasium of the Holy Cross School (332 W. 43rd Street /Between 8th & 9th Avenues).

With a new theme of "Comedy and Tragedy"---the fair is produced by Josef Reiter, this event is made possible by the generous support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Admission is free.

The exhibiting artisans are a diverse group of theatre professionals made up of actors, singers, dancers, musicians, stage managers, and wardrobe personnel Not only do they act, sing, dance, play instruments, direct and choreograph, but in their spare time, they paint, photograph, sculpt, make clothing, purses and jewelry, and the list goes on and on. Audrey Lavine, Brad Musgrove and Barbara Marineau will be among those taking part in the event.

ActorCrafts started about two and a half years ago, according to Reiter. "As I was seeking an outlet for my own work, I came up with the idea for ActorCrafts. Since I know so many theatre folk who make such wonderful crafts and artwork, wouldn't it be great if we could all come together and have some sort of show spotlighting our other talents!"

This event is made possible by the generous support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. BC/EFA is the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fund raising and grant making organization. BC/EFA is the on-going, committed response from the American theater community to an urgent worldwide health crisis.
