March will be yet another great month on Broadway for theatre-loving kids as KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY (KidsNightonBroadway.com) continues its year-round program where kids ages 6-18 can see a participating Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of every month. Tickets for March 3rd and 4th go on sale at noon today, and each event thereafter will go on sale two months prior to the event dates. Tickets for February's program are still available.

The 13th annual KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY program kicks off in New York City on February 3, 2009 with a free pre-theatre party at Madame Tussauds New York. There will also be a pre-theatre event on February 4, 2009, at Maravel Arts Center. Tickets include pre-theatre parties, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs in cooperation with Thru the Stage Door and Take it From the Top, Broadway fun and events, plus more.

KIDS ADVISORY BOARD: NEW THIS YEAR
The Broadway League's first ever KIDS ADVISORY BOARD was selected from theatergoing kids ages 11 to 16 from around the country who love Broadway. The 30 kids who were chosen submitted essays via an online contest judged by Broadway and education industry professionals, managed by Thru the Stage Door. Excerpts from a representative sample of essays will be available on KidsNightonBroadway.com soon. The Board will be an integral part of League programs focused around young audiences where kids will help develop and implement kid-oriented programs, events and online strategies.

On February 3rd, the first Board will convene from around the country to have their first Board meeting, have a meal with KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY National Ambassador Rosie O'Donnell, attend pre-theatre KNOB events and go to a Broadway show.

To purchase tickets, find more information or to view the list of discounted restaurants and parking garages, go to KidsNightonBroadway.com. Tickets can also be purchased via broadwayoffers.com or ticketmaster.com or at the individual theatre box offices. USE CODE KNOB09
