Butz & Federer Welcome Baby Girl to the Family

Broadway couple and former WICKED co-stars Norbert Leo Butz and Michelle Federer, welcomed newborn daughter Georgia Teresa  to the world on January 2. 

Butz commented, "She weighs 6lb, 11 oz, stands 19 1/2 inches (without heels)."

Butz's Broadway credits include Thou Shalt Not, for which he received a Tony Award nomination; Wicked and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, for which he received the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. His off-Broadway credits include The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Saved, and Juno and the Paycock. Butz will return to Broadway in Catch Me if You Can, which will begin performances March 7, 2011.

Federer made her Broadway debut in 2003 as Nessarose, the character she originated, in Stephen Schwartz's musical, Wicked.  Michelle was featured in the Broadway play Three Days of Rain, in which she was the understudy for Julia Roberts in the roles of Nan and Lina. She most recently starred in the Atlantic Theatre Company's production of Anon as Allison in 2007.
