Leonard Gershe's comedy-drama Butterflies Are Free will return to New York from October 20th through 30th at the Duo Theatre (62 E. 4th St.) in the East Village.

"There is no limit to what can happen when the paths of a struggling musician, a free-spirited starlet and a controlling mother collide...Butterflies Are Free is "a funny, touching and thought-provoking play that takes the audience on an emotional ride while confronting fears of self confidence, personal responsibility and the risks that go along with loving someone," according to production notes.

Butterflies Are Free debuted on Broadway at the Booth Theatre on Oct. 21, 1969. The play, which ran for 1128 performances, starred Keir Dullea, Eileen Heckart, Michael Glaser and Blythe Danner, who won a Tony Award for her performances. It will be produced now by No Limit Productions, and "has a fresh new angle and a modern point of view."

"No Limit Productions is an independent production company with a single goal in mind. It is the vision of this company to encourage other actors, directors, producers, editors, and set designers to see their potential as limitless. The company is motivated to afford new opportunities to others and to develop quality projects for both stage and film."

Evening performances will be held from Oct. 20 to Oct. 22, and Oct. 27 to Oct. 29, 2005. Matinee performances will be on Oct. 22, 23, 29, and 30, 2005. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit www.no-limitproductions.com.
