Longtime Chicago dance captain Gregory Butler is featured in the newly released short film The Trap, starring Jeanne Tripplehorn. The film is featured as part of Glamour Magazine's Reel Moments, a series of short films based on true stories from Glamour readers. The Trap is directed by Butler's former Chicago co-star, Rita Wilson.

The Trap premiered in Los Angeles on October 9.  As of Monday, October 15, the film can be viewed online in its entirely at www.glamourreelmoments.com

"Falling into a trap could be the best thing that ever happened to you. Maggie's (Tripplehorn) journey of self-discovery begins with a shaky start when she pulls up to an address in a seedy part of town, where she encounters an outwardly threatening figure named Oberon (Butler), who ushers her into an unforgettable night of exploration and unexpected possibilities, after which she realizes her life may never be the same again," describe production notes.

The Trap also stars Johanna Day, Gia Carides, Aisha Tyler and Channing Tatum.

Gregory Butler has been one of the dance captains of the Broadway production of Chicago for more than 10 years.  In addition to his dance captain duties, he also appears nightly as Roxie Hart's ill-fated lover, Fred Casely. Butler recently returned from Copenhagen, where he served as the associate choreographer for Denmark premiere of Chicago.

Chicago plays on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre.  For tickets, call Telecharge.com at 212-239-6200 or visit www.chicagothemusical.com.
