Kerry Butler, Kathy Brier and Renee Elise Goldsberry--three Broadway stars who appear on the popular ABC soap "One Life to Live" are set to perform at the 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on April 28th.  Presented at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, the awards will air live on ABC from 8 to 11 PM.

Butler, who recently joined the cast of the daytime drama told BroadwayWorld, "
I was so excited when our producer Frank Valentini called to ask me about doing the Emmy's.  I didn't believe him at first - I'm so new on the show and I can't believe they are including me in so many things...not to mention the fact that I will get a gift bag!  Joy!"

In fact, Ms. Butler will not only sing at the Emmy's - but her character, Claudia Reston might just be pursuing a singing career on the show. "I still don't know how much I'll be singing on the show.  I actually read the soap magazines to find out what is going on with my character!  Supposedly I will be singing on the show.  Our producer is so great that he encourages us to do other things, and then tries to incorporate them into the show!  This is a great job!"

Butler has appeared on Broadway in Hairspray (originating the role of Penny Pingleton), as well as in Little Shop of Horrors, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast and Blood Brothers.  She is also known for her work in Off-Broadway's Bat Boy and in the San Francisco production of The Opposite of Sex.  Brier has also been seen in Hairspray and Bat Boy, as well as in The Prince and the Pauper.  She is an Emmy-nominee for her work on "One Life to Live."  Goldsberry, who is up for an Emmy this year, created the role of Nettie in The Color Purple, and also appeared on Broadway in The Lion King and in the Public Theater's Two Gentlemen of Verona.  She is also known for her work on "Ally McBeal."
