According to a report by EW.com, Jennifer Morrison, who is best known for her performance in House, is set to join the cast of CBS's How I Met Your Mother for a multi-episode arc. Morrison will play a love interest for Josh Radnor's character, Ted.
Wayne Brady will return to the show as Barney's gay brother, James, and Ben Vereen will play his father. Laura Bell Bundy is also set for a recurring role.
The show, which stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, Cobie Smulders and Neil Patrick Harris, follows Ted Mosby (Randor) and his eccentric group of friends as Mosby tells the story of his life as a young architect-turned-professor looking for love in New York City. The new season of How I Met Your Mother premieres Monday, September 20 on CBS.
