Bryan Cranston has won a SAG AWARD for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries for HBO Films' ALL THE WAY, directed by Jay Roach (HBO's "Game Change" and "Recount") and written by Robert Schenkkan. Cranston reprised his Tony Award-winning role as President Lyndon B. Johnson in the film which aired in 2016.
During his acceptance speech, the Breaking Bad star imagined what LBJ would have to say about Donald Trump. "I feel that 36 would put his arm around 45 and earnestly wish him success," said Cranston, quickly adding, "He would also whisper in his ear something he said often as a form of encouragement. And a cautionary tale. 'Just don't piss in the soup that all of us have got to eat.'" Watch the acceptance speech below!
ALL THE WAY is a riveting behind-the-scenes look at President Lyndon B. Johnson's tumultuous first year in office as he takes the oath in the wake of President Kennedy's assassination, navigates the escalation of the Vietnam War and balances opposing interests to launch his landmark civil rights bill and win election to his first full presidential term.
