According to TV Guide's website, Bryan Batt may be returning to AMC's "Mad Men," as artistic director Salvatore Romano on the Emmy-winning show. According to William Keck, Batt's spirits were up and he was back with the cast at the Emmy Awards.
Batt received a call a few months ago from series creator
Matthew Weiner letting him know that Sal is not dead, according to the article. Batt couldn't and wouldn't say more on the subject.
Last year, Batt left the show due to the story line, after his character irritated the firm's top client, Lucky Strike.
The cast of the show is currently filming its season finale, though Batt was all secrets about whether or not he'd be in the episode.
According to the article, Weiner said, "Yes, Sal is alive. There's hope, but you have to watch the show. You know I'm not going to say anything."
