Bryan Batt, who has been performing his one-man show to sold-out audiences in his hometown of New Orleans, will now bring his one-man show to New York. His show, titled "Bryan Batt: Live at the Met!," will be performed on February 4th and the 7th at the 9:30PM at the Metropolitan Room.

According to notes, the show is "a clever mix of Broadway and popular ballads and comic turns both familiar and entertainingly obscure. Be prepared for some serious fun with his theatrical/humorous take on the world and stories of his life . . . half fast lived!"

Bryan Batt has appeared in nine Broadway productions, as well as over a dozen plays Off-Broadway, in Los Angeles and in regional theatre. He has played Munkustrap in Cats and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, among other roles.  He was most recently seen on Broadway in La Cage aux Folles.  Batt has also appeared on several television shows including 'Rescue Me', 'Law and Order: Criminal Intent' and 'The Cosby Show.'

The musical director for "Bryan Batt: Live at the Met!" will be Michael Lavine.

The Metropolitan Room at Gotham is located on 34 West 22nd St. Between 5th and 6th Ave. Call 212-206-0440. There is a $25 cover charge and a two-drink minimum.  Visit www.metropolitanroom.com for more information.
