After six sold out performances, Bryan Batt will bring his one-man show to Le Chat Noir in New Orleans for one last time--Thursday, June 22nd at 8:00 pm.
Last November, Batt played two sold out performances at Le Chat Noir to critical acclaim. He now returns for a line-up of "old standards and songs from Broadway, covering the spectrum from silly to galvanizing...He'll make you laugh and he'll make you cry. And of course he'll ask, 'Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans?,'" state press notes.
Batt most recently played
Albin on Broadway in the revival of La Cage aux Folles. His other
theatre credits include Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast; Monty,
the disco DJ, in Saturday Night Fever; the Cat in the Hat in
Seussical the Musical; Sir Percy in The Scarlet Pimpernel;
as well as principal roles in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat, Starlight Express and Cats. He lso played Joe Gillis opposite Betty Buckley's Norma Desmond in
Sunset Boulevard and has appeared Off-Broadway in My Deah,
Forbidden Broadway and Jeffrey. Batt has also been busy raising
funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
