When you describe your music as “being for anyone shot or hit by a train”, you have to be able to back it up. Luckily, Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Hanni El Khatib does just that, with a blend of 50’s garage rock and a healthy dose of blues and soul.

Hanni started off jamming with some friends, recording music just for fun. It was not long before he left his job, and started focusing on his music career. In 2011, he recorded his first album Will The Guns Come Out. After that, he and his friend created their own label, Innovative Leisure. Hanni has shared the stage with Florence And The Machine, and, his music has been featured in commercials for Nike, Nissan, HBO’S Hung and Showtime’s Californication.

Hanni El Khatib’s influences are varied, and that’s evident by the cover selections on Will The Guns Come Out, which include everything from Elvis and Funkadelic to Louis Armstrong. His music can be classified as upbeat 50’s rock with a funk edge, and heart and soul. For more information, visit http://www.myspace.com/hannielkhatib.

Formed in 2008, The Sundelles are an upcoming indie rock band from New York City. This laid back trio brings a blend of surf rock and indie pop to the table that can make anyone feel like they’re lounging on the beach. Their album, Georgia Swan is available on itunes.
