In celebration of Halloween, the Brooklyn Museum will present the following mummy-themed tours:
Tonight at 8 p.m.
Gallery Tour: "The Secret Lives of Mummies"
Why did the Ancient Egyptians mummify the deceased? What secrets and surprises have been uncovered by the latest scientific research into the Brooklyn Museum's mummies' previous lives? This tour, led by Museum Guide Roy Capps, will explore mysterious and practical objects associated with mummies, mummification, and their journey through ideas and history.
