The Michael Grandage Company production of The Cripple of Inishmaan, by Martin McDonagh, starring Daniel Radcliffe and the critically acclaimed West End cast, directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Grandage, will begin previews on Broadway tomorrow, Saturday, April 12.

The production will open Sunday, April 20 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street).

Tickets are on sale through www.Telecharge.com. The production will play a strictly limited run through Sunday, July 20, with over 10,000 tickets available priced at $27, to provide access for all audiences.

A limited number of $37 general rush tickets will be sold for each performance on the day of the show when the box office opens. Each guest in line is limited to two rush tickets per person. Payment by cash or credit card. Locations will be at the theatre's discretion and may be partial view. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered for all performances.

THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN will be produced on Broadway by Michael Grandage Company, Arielle Tepper Madover, L.T.D. Productions, Martin McCallum, Stephanie P. McClelland, Stacey Mindich, Starry Night Entertainment, and The Shubert Organization.

The production marks the Broadway premiere for Academy Award-winner Martin McDonagh's heralded play, and the first Broadway transfer from Michael Grandage Company, a London based production company set up by director, Michael Grandage and producer, James Bierman (both formerly of the Donmar) to produce work across all media. The Cripple of Inishmaan comes to Broadway following its sold out run last summer at the West End's Noel Coward Theatre, where it was part of an award-winning season of five plays produced by Michael Grandage Company.

Producer Arielle Tepper Madover is pleased to continue her professional relationship with Michael Grandage and James Bierman, which has previously included the Broadway transfers for the Donmar Warehouse productions of Frost/Nixon, Mary Stuart, Hamlet and Red, and the West End transfers of Frost/Nixon and Mary Stuart.

Set on the remote island of Inishmaan off the west coast of Ireland, word arrives that a Hollywood film is being made on the neighboring island of Inishmore. The one person who wants to be in the film more than anybody is young Cripple Billy (Daniel Radcliffe), if only to break away from the bitter tedium of his daily life. Martin McDonagh's comic masterpiece examines an ordinary coming of age in extraordinary circumstances and confirms his position as one of the most original Irish voices to emerge in the second half of the twentieth century.

Daniel Radcliffe made his West End debut in 2007 and Broadway debut in 2008-2009 in Peter Shaffer's Equus. He returned to Broadway in 2011 for a 10-month sold out run in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Since completing the final installment in the series of eight Harry Potter films in 2010, Radcliffe has continued to prove himself a diverse and acclaimed talent. He stars in Sony Pictures Classics', Kill Your Darlings, which, having premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, opened to rave reviews. He will next be seen starring opposite Zoe Kazan in CBS Films and eOne's romantic comedy, The F Word, as well as starring opposite Juno Temple in the horror-thriller Horns, which is based on Joe Hill's best-selling book. All three films were invited to screen at the recent Toronto International Film Festival. He is currently shooting Frankenstein with James McAvoy for Twentieth Century Fox. In 2012, Radcliffe starred in Hammer's The Woman in Black, which has since become the most successful British horror film of all time, in addition to its box office success in the US. Last summer, in addition to starring in The Cripple of Inishmaan in the West End, he filmed the second series of Sky Art's A Young Doctor's Notebook, again opposite Jon Hamm (broadcast on Ovation in the US).

In addition to Mr. Radcliffe, the production will feature Ingrid Craigie (Kate Osborne), Pádraic Delaney (Babbybobby), Sarah Greene (Helen McCormick), Gillian Hanna (Eileen Osborne), Gary Lilburn (Doctor), Conor MacNeill (Bartley McCormick), Pat Shortt (Johnnypateenmike) and June Watson (Mammy).

The actors in The Cripple of Inishmaan are appearing with the permission of Actors' Equity Association.

The production features set and costume design by Tony Award-winner Christopher Oram and lighting design by Tony Award-winner Paule Constable. Composer and sound designer is Alex Baranowski. Casting director is Anne McNulty. US General Manager is 101 Productions Ltd.
