With performances now underway, Broadway's latest hit musical SCHOOL OF ROCK is getting in on the rush game.

The new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical has announced a general rush ticket policy today, which will go into effect immediately, and do away with the production's previous lottery policy. A limited number of $37 general rush tickets will now go on sale when the Winter Garden Theatre box office opens each morning.

SCHOOL OF ROCK previously held a lottery two hours before the curtain rose, with orchestra seats priced at $25.

The complete rules and regulations for the new rush ticket policy are as follows:

- A limited number of general rush tickets will be sold for $37, beginning each day when the box office opens on a first come, first served basis.

- Tickets may be purchased in cash or with a valid credit card.

- Tickets are subject to availability.

- Limited to 2 tickets per patron, per performance.

- Winter Garden Theatre box office hours are: Monday - Saturdays between 10:00 am - 8:00 pm and Sundays from 12:00 pm - 6:00pm.

Per press notes, "SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Completely disinterested in academic work, Dewey decides to create his own curriculum, turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band."

Based on the 2003, School of Rock an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, with a book by Julian Fellowes and direction by Laurence Connor. Music from the film is also featured.
