Just in time for the elections, Lewis Black returns to one of Broadway's biggest stages to take on Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in LEWIS BLACK: BLACK TO THE FUTURE which is currently running as a limited engagement at the Marquis Theatre in New York City.

Today, Comedy Central announced that the show is being filmed on Monday, September 26 and will premiere on Friday, October 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The one-hour politically-themed special is executive produced by Black. Jack Gulick and Ben Brewer are producers. JoAnn Grigioni is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Lewis Black previously appeared on Broadway in the one-man show, Lewis Black: Running on Empty in 2012.

Comedy Central is also set to film original one-hour stand-up specials this fall featuring Kurt Braunohler, Joe DeRosa, Mark Normand and Roy Wood Jr.

Kurt Braunohler is a comedian, skywriter and jet-skier who committed his career (perhaps foolishly) to "inserting absurdity into stranger's lives to make the world a better place." He will be filming his latest one-hour stand-up special, "Kurt Braunohler: Trust Me" at Revolution Hall in Portland, OR on Saturday, September 24 and will premiere in 2017. The special is executive produced by Braunohler, Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman for Art & Industry, and David Martin and Kelly Van Valkenburg for Avalon. Anne Harris is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Writer, actor, and standup comedian Joe DeRosa has become a favorite on the comedy circuit. His brand of comedy mixing brutal honesty and frustration at the workings of the world has won over comedy fans, radio listeners, and TV audiences nationwide. DeRosa will be filming his third Comedy Central one-hour stand-up special, "Joe DeRosa: You Let Me Down" at the Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 13 and will premiere in 2017. The special is executive produced and directed by DeRosa with executive producers Marcus Raboy, Sam Saifer for Avalon and Jonathan Stern for Abominable Pictures. JoAnn Grigioni and Ryan Moran are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

"Amy Schumer Presents Mark Normand: Don't Be Yourself" (working title) is Normand's first one-hour stand-up special which will shoot in the fall and air in 2017. The Village Voice hailed Mark, "the best joke writer in a city full of them," which has led to numerous appearances including Comedy Central's "@midnight with Chris Hardwick," "This Is Not Happening" and "The Half Hour," Showtime's "SXSW Comedy," NBC's "Last Comic Standing," CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," TBS's "Conan," and Louis CK's "Horace and Pete." He has also made several appearances on Comedy Central's Emmy® Award-winning series "Inside Amy Schumer," and headlines clubs across the country. The special is executive produced by Normand, Amy Schumer and Jakob Markovits for Avalon. Anne Harris and JoAnn Grigioni are the the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Roy Wood Jr. is part of "The Best F#@ing News Team" as a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah." Wood Jr. has been described by The Hollywood Reporter as "A standout," and Entertainment Weekly called his brand of thought provoking comedy as "charismatic crankiness." In 2016, Variety named him one of "10 Comics to Watch." He will be filming his first one-hour stand-up special "Roy Wood Jr.: Father Figure" at Center Stage in Atlanta on Friday, October 14 and will premiere in 2017. The special is executive produced by Wood Jr., John MacDonald of MacDonald Entertainment, and Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman for Art & Industry. Miro Terrell is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Also in October, Comedy Central will air original one-hour stand-up specials featuring
Kyle Kinane and Pete Davidson. "Kyle Kinane: Loose in Chicago" premieres on Saturday, October 15 at Midnight ET/PT and brings Kinane's easy charm and off-kilter observations to his third one-hour special. He talks about why his girlfriend doesn't need to worry about him cheating, reveals the whitest thing he's ever said and explains why you have to keep fashion in mind if you insist on carrying a gun.

"Pete Davidson: SMD" debuts on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and was filmed in front of a sold-out hometown crowd in NYC. "SMD" is Davidson's first stand-up special and filled with his unfiltered, brutally honest anecdotes about smoking a Snoop Dog amount of weed, texting his mom dick pics, and his issue with male porn stars. From his stint in "prehab" to this one time at a Justin Bieber concert, Davidson proves that even at 22, he and his friends have had some high times and heavy experiences.
