According to The Hollywood Reporter, Broadway's Kyle Harris will play 'Seth' in a recurring role on the CW's "The Carrie Diaries", the network's prequel to "Sex and the City".

The series, based on the novel by Candace Bushnell, follows young Carrie Bradshaw, played by AnnaSophia Robb, through her life in New York City in the '80s. Harris' character Seth is a Princeton freshman and boyfriend of Carrie's friend Mouse, played by Ellen Wong. This will be Harris' primetime TV debut.
Harris last appeared in the national tour of West Side Story and on Broadway in Sondheim on Sondheim.
"The Carrie Diaries" is written by Amy Harris and produced by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Len Goldstein and author Candace Bushnell. The series will begin airing midseason on Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
