Producers have announced that Fiddler on the Roof's Jessica Vosk will haunt Tevye's last dream on Sunday, August 7th, and Wicked's, Dee Roscioli will assume the role of Fruma-Sarah beginning Thursday, August 11th at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway, at 53rd Street).
Jessica Vosk announced the news of her departure earlier this month on Facebook saying, "Fiddler has become one of the most important moments of my life thus far. And while it's all quite a whirlwind, I look forward to the next stop on the journey, and I can't wait to share it with you soon! And come visit me before I go y'all!!".
Dee Roscioli is known best for her performances as Elphaba in the Broadway, Chicago, San Francisco, and national touring productions of the musical Wicked.
Fiddler on the Roof began previews at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway, at 53rd Street) on November 20, 2015 and officially opened on Sunday, December 20, 2015.
Fiddler on the Roof will play its final performance on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

Danny Burstein). Additionally,
Fiddler on the Roof took home two Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Director of a Musical (Bart Sher) and Outstanding Actor in a Musical (
Danny Burstein). Burstein was also awarded the Outer Critics Circle Award for the Outstanding Actor in a Musical.
