Ghostlight Records will preserve the Lincoln Center Theater production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos with a new Broadway cast recording to be released later this season. The new two disc-set will mark the first time the landmark show has been recorded in its entirety.

FALSETTOS, which officially opens on Thursday night at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) and is produced in association with Jujamcyn Theaters, features Stephanie J. Block (as Trina), Christian Borle (as Marvin), Andrew Rannells (as Whizzer), Anthony Rosenthal (as Jason), Tracie Thoms (as Dr. Charlotte), Brandon Uranowitz (as Mendel), and Betsy Wolfe (as Cordelia).

"Growing up with FALSETTOS was a GameChanger musical for me. With its gorgeous score and trailblazing takes on love, life and crisis, FALSETTOS is one of our great musicals and we're honored to preserve the new Broadway cast album on Ghostlight Records," says the label's founder Kurt Deutsch. "Having released Finn's wonderful 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, we're thrilled to add this recording to our catalog, especially featuring such an unbelievable cast breathing such magnificent life into this 'tight knit family.'"

FALSETTOS is directed by James Lapine, with choreography by Spencer Liff, sets by David Rockwell, costumes by Jennifer Caprio, lighting by Jeff Croiter, sound by Dan Moses Schreier, and musical direction by Vadim Feichtner, conducting Michael Starobin's original orchestrations. William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award winning musical FALSETTOS is the story of the charming, neurotic Marvin, who struggles to find an unconventional and loving extended family after leaving his wife and son for his lover Whizzer.
