The movie, which opens in theaters on August 22nd, is the story of one drama teacher's quest to pull together a theatrical performance conceived as a sequel to Shakespeare's Hamlet. His creation titled Hamlet 2 becomes a musical-theater extravaganza that disdains both political correctness and dramatic credibility. Chaos ensues as objections from school officials and the community are raised, but drama teacher Dana will not be denied his freedom of artistic expression.
