BroadwayHD Announces Free Stream of ON THE EXHALE in Support of March For Our Lives

BroadwayHD, the premiere streaming service that brings live theater productions to viewers all over the world, announced today that it will offer, On the Exhale, for free on March 24th and 25th in solidarity with The March For Our Lives demonstration occurring across the United States. On the Exhale explores the complex issue of gun control in America, the politics that surrounds it, and the government's responsibility to regulate this system. The announcement came at the conclusion of BroadwayHD's South by Southwest panel "Keeping Performing Arts Alive in a Digital World" out of Austin, TX.

On The Exhale, is a powerful production described as "brave and bold" by the New York Times that dives into the subject of gun violence and tragedy, and was created by playwright Martin Zimmerman (Executive Story Editor, Ozark and Writer, Narcos) as a way to cope and understand the events that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

"There is an inspiring movement taking place regarding gun control and senseless acts of gun violence and we wanted to provide a powerful lense to advance this conversation. On The Exhale is an incredibly moving play about how a mother's world has been forever changed after an act of gun violence," said Bonnie Comley, CEO and Founder of BroadwayHD. March For Our Lives is a planned demonstration taking place on March 24 in Washington, D.C. and throughout the United States. Students and families all over the country are planning The March in collaboration with the nonprofit organization Everytown for Gun Safety, following the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
