The Broadway community will celebrate the life of Seth Popper today, September 30th from 4:00pm - 5:00pm at the Richard Rodgers Theatre at 226 West 46th Street.

Seth M. Popper, who died on May 26, 2014, was Director of Labor Relations for The Broadway League, the trade association representing commercial theatre producers, theatre owners, and presenters on Broadway and around the country. As Director, Seth oversaw the League's multi-employer bargaining function, negotiating and administering the industry's 17 labor contracts with local and national unions representing the industry's directors, choreographers, actors, musicians, and stagecraft, as well as front-of-house personnel.

Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of The Broadway League, commented, "Our dear friend and respected colleague Seth Popper was a special person who we will always remember. Our industry wishes to commemorate Seth's exceptional passion for life and love of Broadway with musical tributes and the sharing of memories."

The Broadway League has established the Popper Education Trust Fund on behalf of Seth and his wife Stacey Zorowitz Popper's children Jake, age 9, and Avery, age 7. For more information regarding a donation, contact Myrna Stavisky at mstavisky@broadway.org
