Broadway theatres will dim their marquee lights tonight, July 13th at 8 PM, for one minute in the memory of Ed Mirvish, the entrepreneur, theatrical impresario and Broadway Producer who was known as "Honest Ed."

His Broadway credits include the award winning productions Stones in His Pockets, Spoils of War, and The Mikado.

Mirvish was a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, a Member of the Order of Canada and the recipient of more than 250 awards.  Mirvish died on July 11 of natural causes. He was 92.
