Broadway for Biden's ambitious seven-part Town Hall series, produced by the Broadway Podcast Network, will conclude this weekend with back-to-back events amplifying Latinx and Black voices within the Broadway community. Spotlight on Latinx Voices will stream on Saturday, October 24 at 2:00pm EST and Black Voices on Broadway will stream on Sunday, October 25th at 2:00pm EST. Both filmed panel discussions will stream for free at BPN.FM/B4B and will remain online following the event.

Spotlight on Latinx Voices will feature acclaimed tap dancer Ayodele Casel, director and choreographer Luis Salgado, and Stephanie Beatriz (In the Heights, movie). Eric Ulloa (On Your Feet!) will moderate the discussion about the Biden campaign's policies for the Latinx community.

Black Voices on Broadway will feature veteran stage manager Cody Renard Richard, director Leah C. Gardiner, director Schele Williams, and Aisha Jackson (Frozen). Gilbert L. Bailey II (Beetlejuice the Musical) will moderate the discussion about the Biden campaign's policies for the Black community.

The Town Hall series has been a cornerstone of Broadway for Biden's slate of initiatives since its founding this summer. The organization has produced seven Town Halls focusing on the Biden campaign's policies regarding Employment & Unemployment, Healthcare, and issues pertaining to members of LGBTQ+, AAPI, People with Disabilities, Latinx, and Black communities. Previous participants have included Eden Espinosa, Tony Goldwyn, Telly Leung, and Matthew Lopez.

Broadway for Biden is an inclusive online community dedicated to bringing together professional theater makers and theater lovers around the country to raise awareness on key issues in the 2020 presidential election, increase voter turnout, and raise funds to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House this November. The grassroots volunteer organization has a robust online presence and is activating the national theater community and the fans who love it by hosting one-of-a-kind events, disseminating information, and amplifying the stories of individuals within the theater world's diverse community to build connections and humanize the issues at stake in this year's election.

Broadway for Biden's top priority is electing the Biden-Harris ticket this November, and it takes inspiration from the campaign's motto, "Build back better," in every action. Since its first event held this summer, the organization has united a staff comprised of more than 50 volunteers from all facets of the theater industry, working collaboratively in a collective vision for a better future for Broadway and America.
