Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Melba Moore Live Covering Iconic Legends

American Rhythm & Blues singer and actress Melba Moore (b. New York, NY, 29 October 1945) is a four-time Grammy nominee and the winner of the 1970 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, for her performance as Lutiebelle in Purlie. With a total of eleven top ten U.S. hits on the Billboard charts over the past 40 years, both singles and albums, Melba Moore continues into the 21st century as one of pop music's most enduring artists.

Patti LuPone: The Lady with the Torch

Patti LuPone's appearances at 54 Below have already achieved the status of legend. Experiencing the great diva in the intimate atmosphere of 54 Below is not only a never-to-be-forgotten experience but is one you will want to repeat again and again. This April, the two-time Tony Award winner returns to 54 Below with her critically-acclaimed show The Lady with A Torch. LuPone performs an eclectic collection of torch songs by such composers and lyricists as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne,Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. Enjoy what Don Heckman of The Los Angeles Times described as "a beautifully paced, marvelously delivered torch-song exploration of the pleasures and pains of love; LuPone's remarkable, larger-than-life qualities and stunning musicality are distilled into the pure essence of her art."

Seth Sikes Is Still Singing Judy Garland

Back by popular demand, Seth Sikes returns to 54 Below with more of Judy Garland's most celebrated songs - some of them in her key. Best known in the theater as an Assistant Director (on shows like The Nance, Tribes, and Pageant), Sikes gets on the stage with a seven-piece band to recount how Garland captivated him as a young boy in Paris, TX, and to sing her greatest hits. Surprise special guests may also appear.

New songs added!

The evening was co-conceived by Tony Winner Lisa Lambert and directed by Eric Gililland. Orchestrations are by Matt Aument, and the Music Director is Gary Adler.

REEFER MADNESS tells the cautionary tale of Jimmy Harper, a "sweet-as-Shirley-Temple-dipped-in-pudding" American teenager, who is viciously dragged into a downward spiral of sex, debauchery, and jazz music by the deadly drug assassin known as Marijuana (pronounced "mare-a-hwua-na"). Join Jimmy, Mary Lane, Sally, Jesus Christ, and the Benjamin Harrison High School cast of Green Grow the Lilacs as we celebrate William Randoph Hearst and everything that is great in the U.S. of A!
