Join us for a refreshing night of music as Broadway's newest star, Whitney Bashor, celebrates songstresses of the 1960s and 1970s. Whitney wowed Broadway audiences last season as Marian/Chiara in the new musical The Bridges of Madison County, singing Jason Robert Brown's "Another Life." The Hollywood Reporter even noted, "Strains of 1960s folk run through several numbers, notably 'Another Life' performed by Whitney Bashor with phrasing and flute-like vocals that pay homage to Joni Mitchell." Now see Whitney wow audiences with an electric evening of selections written indeed by Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro, and other revered female writers of yesteryear. This Clarence Derwent Award winner comes to 54 Below straight from starring in the Broadway-bound musical Beaches in Chicago.
