After a sold out performance in September, #SOBLESSED: Live! returns to 54 Below for a special winter engagement benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fight's AIDS! Starring A Bunch of Really Awesome People You Love That Will Be Announced Later, #SOBLESSED: Live! is the concert adaptation of #SOBLESSED, a satirical tell-all describing the life of the modern day actor in New York City, written by Internet personality, Annoying Actor Friend (@Actor_Friend).
#SOBLESSED: Live! features performances and stories associated with actors' experiences in college, pounding the pavement, on tour, Broadway and even while on unemployment. It will be nothing short of the type of experience you would expect from Annoying Actor Friend. Complete with interactive liver-murdering drinking games, profanity, hashtags, prizes, and the celebration of self deprecation, this event is sure to embody the essence you've grown to love or hate - but it won't matter anyway because you'll be so wasted you won't remember a thing the next morning.
So come on down to 54 Below to party for the good of BC/EFA! We're not going to say @Actor_Friend will be there, but we're not NOT going to say @Actor_Friend is going to be there. #grateful.
Hosted by Lesli Margherita (Matilda), #SOBLESSED Live! will feature performances by Jeremy Jordan ("The Last Five Years", "Smash"), Wesley Taylor (The Addams Family, "It Could Be Worse"), Michael James Scott (Something Rotten!, The Book of Mormon), Keala Settle (Les Miserables), Adam Kaplan (Newsies), Megan Sikora (Like A Million Broadway Shows), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), Ellyn Marie Marsh (Kinky Boots) and MORE AWESOME PEOPLE WHO MAY JUST SHOW UP. The evening will be music directed by Drew Wutke.
