We didn't think Netflix's GILMORE GIRLS revival could get any better -- but it's outdone itself! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Broadway royalty Sutton Foster is the first new actress to join the streaming platform's highly anticipated reboot.

Foster will reunite with GILMORE GIRLS and BUNHEADS creator Amy Sherman-Palladino for the four-part series. No official word on what role she will play, although her character from BUNHEADS -- 'Michelle Simms' -- would fit right in at the dance studio run by Miss Patty (played by Liz Torres) in GILMORE GIRLS' fictional setting of Stars Hollow.

The actress currently stars in TV Land's YOUNGER. The two-time Tony Award-winner last appeared on Broadway in VIOLET and before that in ANYTHING GOES, SHREK THE MUSICAL, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, LITTLE WOMEN, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, ANNIE, GREASE and LES MISERABLES.

Netflix announced additional casting earlier today for the fan favorite series, which is created, written and directed by Sherman-Palladino and executive produced, written and directed by Daniel Palladino. Milo Ventimiglia (Gotham), Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife), Liza Weil (How To Get Away With Murder) and Yanic Truesdale (Rumours) are set to return to their original characters in the GILMORE GIRLS revival.

Previously announced stars returning to the series include Lauren Graham (Parenthood), Alexis Bledel (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), Scott Patterson (Saw V, Saw IV), Kelly Bishop (The Good Wife), Keiko Agena (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy).

GILMORE GIRLS is produced by Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series title and premiere date will be announced soon.
