On September 26, 2015, Broadway Workshop is hosting an open house event for interested students, ages: 8-13, and their parents from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ripley Grier Studios, 520 8th Ave (Bet. 36th/37th St.), 16th Floor, NYC..
Since 2007, Broadway Workshop has offered the best training available to student performers and now is your chance to experience a workshop as our guest.
During this open house event, students will work with Chris Dwan from the Broadway cast of FINDING NEVERLAND. Chris along with our musical director will lead students in a workshop where they will learn music and choreography.
Students will have the opportunity to perform what they have learned in front of Broadway casting director -- Cesar Rocha -- from Telsey + Co Casting.
Telsey + Co Casting is responsible for casting the Broadway Productions of -- FINDING NEVERLAND, SOMETHING ROTTEN!, HAMILTON, KINKY BOOTS, WICKED, and the upcoming TUCK EVERLASTING, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, ON YOUR FEET and many major motion pictures and TV projects, including INTO THE WOODS, RICKI AND THE FLASH, SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE, PETER PANLIVE, THE WIZ LIVE, THE INTERN and more.
Finally, Broadway Workshop Director, Marc Tumminelli, will join Cesar and Chris for a parent and student Q&A.
