Broadway Stars Honor Troops for Fleet Week, 5/28

Some of the best new shows on Broadway will put on special performances for visiting members of the armed forces who are in New York City for Fleet Week on Friday, May 28th from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), in Manhattan.

Cast members from "American Idiot," "The Addams Family," "Promises, Promises," "Hair," "Million Dollar Quartet" and "Lend Me a Tenor" are scheduled to sing a selection from their respective shows.

Participating in the line up are the afternoon's hosts, Lend Me a Tenor's Mary Catherine Garrison and Jennifer Laura Thompson in addition to Million Dollar Quartet's Eddie Clendening, Lance Guest, Levi Kreis, and Robert Lyons;  Promises, Promises' Brooks Ashmanskas, Sean Martin Hingston, Ken Land and Matthew Loehr, Hair's complete Tribe including Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young, The Addams Family's Krysta Rodriguez and Wesley Taylor, and American Idiot's Rebecca Naomi Jones, Mary Faber, Christina Sajous, Alysha Umphress, Leslie McDonel, and Libby Winters

Fleet Week takes place from May 26-31. A Fleet Week icon, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum hosts many popular Fleet Week events including athletic challenges between groups of visiting members of the armed forces, military displays and demonstrations and a special Memorial Day ceremony.
