On Tuesday, November 13th at 10PM over a dozen of Broadway's brightest stars will be singing songs of hope, love, and, quite possibly, Grease to benefit the Friends of Marybeth and Cohort 3 helping aid victims of Hurricane Sandy in Staten Island and other affected areas in NYC.

Performers already confirmed for the event include Corey Cott ('Jack Kelly' in Newsies),Will Blum ('Elder Cunningham' in The Book of Mormon), Zak Resnick ('Skye' in Mamma Mia), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka ('Henrik' in A Little Night Music), Lora Lee Gayer ('Young Sally' in Follies), Kara Lindsay ('Katherine Plumber' in Newsies), Hannah Elless ('Bless The Lord' soloist in Godspell), Tess Soltau ('Rapunzel' in Into the Woods), Russell Fischer ('Joey' in Jersey Boys), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, 'Libby' in Sabrina, The Teenage Witch), Jessica Waxman (Pure Country), Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins) and Bob Lenzi (South Pacific), with more to be announced in the coming days! The evening will be music directed by Benjamin Rauhala.

"Oh Sandy" has been organized by Staten Island-native Marrick Smith, an actor/writer, and recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. After days of volunteering at shelters and helping rebuild his neighborhood, Marrick was inspired to gather the theater community together to help raise funds for Friends of Maribeth and Cohort 3. The performers all graciously leaped t the opportunity to help support our community. This will undoubtedly be a powerful evening as our theater community joins together in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Tickets will be $20 with a 2-drink minimum, and reservations can be made by calling 212-695-6909. The Laurie Beechman Theater is located on the Northwest corner of 42nd and 9th. All proceeds from the evening will go to Friends of Marybeth and Cohort 3.
