Broadway Star Nathan Lane and Producer Devlin Elliott Tie the Knot at City Hall

A huge congratulations to Broadway star Nathan Lane and his long-time partner, playwright and producer Devlin Elliott, who married in a City Hall ceremony on Tuesday, November 17! The pair have been together for 18 years.

The NY Post's Page Six reports that Lane revealed the news during a panel with Joy Behar at the 92nd Street Y. Behar told the couple, "That means that you're spending your honeymoon at the 92nd Street Y."

Sweet as ever, Lane described Elliott as "a wonderful writer and a wonderful man" during the talk.

The happy couple just released a children's book, NAUGHTY MABEL, inspired by their real-life French bulldog 'Mabel'. Their first-ever book, Lane and Elliott's story features illustrations by Dan Krall and will be the first in a series about Mabel, the queen of the Hamptons with a penchant for getting her perfectly pedicured paws into trouble.

Lane is an award-winning star of stage, screen, and television. Most recently on Broadway in Terrence McNally's IT'S ONLY A PLAY, he has won two Tony awards, five Drama Desk Awards, two Obies, and the Olivier Award. On television he has recently had recurring roles on MODERN FAMILY and THE GOOD WIFE. He has received six primetime Emmy Award nominations, and has won two daytime Emmys and the People's Choice Award. He has made over thirty-five films, including THE BIRDCAGE, THE LION KING, STUART LITTLE, and THE PRODUCERS. In 2006, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2008 he was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame.

Elliott is the co-owner of Maberry Theatricals, Inc. and is a Tony-nominated Broadway/Off-Broadway and West End producer. As a writer, he's finishing his first play, the second NAUGHTY MABEL book with Nathan, and three TV pilots, one of which is in development at Anonymous Content.
