BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
Tonight, October 25th, Broadway Sessions is thrilled to welcome performances from SILENCE! The Musical, The Skivvies and more.
SILENCE! The Musical is the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by
Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and
Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by
Christopher Gattelli. Silence! is currently playing at New York City’s Elektra Theatre, 673 Eighth Ave., between 42nd and 43rd streets. Broadway Sessions audience members will have the opportunity to win tickets to the critically acclaimed hit.
The Skivvies are theater favorites and songwriters
Lauren Molina and
Nick Cearley, a NY-based duo who strip down the classics of today and yesterday. Literally. The duo will celebrate the release of their latest single “Hardbody Hoedown” on October 29th at 7:30 at The Cutting Room.
The evening will also feature feature performances by singing actor Arthur Wise.
Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The
Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 West 42nd Street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue). 212-695-6909.
