BROADWAY SESSIONS welcomes Anything Goes' Clyde Alves and more November 3rd.

The show is HOSTED BY Ben Cameron EVERY THURSDAY at 11:00pm, doors open 10:30pm

Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.
This Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 the weekly show (now in it's 3rd year welcomes Clyde Alves and more
Clyde Alves is currently featured in the Tony winning revival of Anything Goes. Alves other Broadway credits include Wicked, Hairspray, Oklanhoma (Jess) and The Music Man (2000 Astaire Award winner for his performance as Tommy Djilas). Clyde recreated his performance of Tommy Djilas in The Music Man ABC TV Special starring Matthew Broderick. Off-Broadway Alves has appeared in Altar Boyz (Juan) and Boobs-The Musical. He played Mike in the 1st national production of A Chorus Line. Alves will present an evening of his original compositions Sunday November 13th at The Bitter End
The evening will also feature performances from singer/actor Bradley D Gale. Gale was most recently featured in Miss Saigon at The Ogunquit Playhouse.
Open Mic party goes til 2 am featuring Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:40 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is NO cover charge.
