Broadway Kisses Sweepstakes Kicks Off September 22nd

The League of American Theaters and Producers, Inc. and Virgin Megastore have announced a new online sweepstakes, launching Thursday, September 22, that will give Broadway fans a chance to win an array of great Broadway prizes, including a free trip to New York City to see a Broadway show of his or her choice.

"The Broadway Kisses: How Much Do You Love NY Theatre?" Sweepstakes celebrates the beginning of the fall Broadway season, and is part of an ongoing travel and tourism initiative of The League of American Theatres and Producers. The Sweepstakes launch event, as an added feature, helps promote the 19th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on Sunday, September 25.

To enter the Sweepstakes, Broadway fans sign on to ILoveNYTheater.com, the League's multi-lingual website, where they will be prompted to enter in their contact information. Entries can also be submitted by filling out a ballot at Virgin Megastore in Times Square (1540 Broadway between 47th and 46th).

After entering the Sweepstakes, fans can also give "a Broadway kiss" to their friends and family by sending an electronic alert/invite to join the Sweepstakes and a chance to win. Prizes include:

Grand prize: A paid trip for two to New York City including airfare on Continental Airlines, 2-night stay at the Hilton New York, and a Live Broadway Visa® Gift Card worth $225 and a Virgin Gift card to be used at the new restyled, revamped Virgin Megastore in Times Square.

First prize: Live Broadway Visa® Gift Card worth $225 to be used to purchase Broadway tickets.

Second prize: A signed show poster from a current Broadway show of the winner's choice.

Winners will be announced on Friday, October 21, on the ILoveNYTheater.com website and contacted directly by email.
