Broadway Kids Jam Sings 'Waiting For Life' From ONCE ON THIS ISLAND

Broadway Kids Jam has released their latest jam, "Waiting For Life" From Once On This Island. This jam features Mckayla Twiggs (Anastasia, Les Miserables, Once), Joshua Turchin (The Pill, TrevorLIVE LA, A Christmas Story the Musical), Hudson Loverro (A Bronx Tale, Ragtime/Ellis Island), Molly Richardson (Matilda), Madeleine Pace (Once), and little "jammers" Shaina Turchin, Lyla Twiggs, and Chloe Loverro. "I love being a part of Broadway Kids Jam because I get to perform with kids around my own age. At the theater, in A Bronx Tale, I perform with super-talented adults. BKJ gives me the chance to collaborate with a group of super-talented kids and work on new material each time we get together," said Hudson Loverro, who is currently performing as Young Calogero in A Bronx Tale, the Musical.

The first Broadway revival of Once On This Island, is currently running on Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theater. The show features the book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty. The revival cast includes Hailey Kilgore as Ti Moune, Isaac Powell as Daniel, Alysha Deslorieux as Andrea, Phillip Boykin as Tonton Julian, Kenita R. Miller as Mama Euralie, Alex Newell as Asaka, Merle Dandridge as Papa Ge, Quentin Earl Darrington as Agwe, Lea Salonga as Erzulie and David Jennings as Armand.

"Once On This Island is such a great musical that captivates the audience and lures them into the island. I love the music of Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, and had so much fun learning the song and playing it with my friends," said Joshua Turchin. "At Broadway Kids Jam, we usually pick a song, work on it for an hour or so and then record what we do. Our main goal is to have fun."

Broadway Kids Jam features kids from various Broadway shows, Broadway national tours, movies, TV shows, animated series and commercials who love to jam and make music.
