"The Broadway Inspirational Voices Podcast" is a series of one-on-one interviews with the members of the New York City-based gospel choir, which is comprised of Broadway and Off-Broadway actors and musicians. Each episode will focus on a different BIV artist, who will discuss their upbringing and career, how they came to BIV, and what the choir means to them. Throughout the interviews, listeners will hear clips of the individual artist's performances as well as performances of the choir. The podcast aims to paint a picture of the incredible diversity and talent found within this single organization.

Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) was founded by Michael McElroy in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir and in 1999 reincarnated to its current name. In 2010 BIV became a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization whose mission consists of providing HOPE to INSPIRE and TRANSFORM youth in need through music and the arts. In addition to numerous concerts, the Grammy nominated choir has performed with award winning artists Mariah Carey, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, STING, Elton John, Vanessa Williams, Heather Headley, Billy Porter and featured on The David Letterman Show, "The Rosie O'Donnell Christmas Special," multiple Tony Awards Telecast,NBC's show SMASH and America's Got Talent. The Broadway Inspirational Voices first album Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas was released on Sh-K-Boom Records and received a Grammy Award nomination. The choir is presently working on recording their second holiday Christmas CD, "Great Joy II: Around the World ".
