Can you believe it's December already?  Christmas is just a few weeks away, and Hannukah started this week.  If you haven't already done your shopping, now would be a good time to start.

This year, everyone on my holiday gift list is getting something related to Broadway. And while true -- Sondheim's Finishing The Hat and The Dance on Broadway Nintendo Wii game are terrific options, I've decided to choose gifts that give in another way, too.  

This year, all of the gifts I buy will benefit Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS -- they have a fantastic gift catalogue! --so the proceeds allow BC/EFA to grant money to over 400 AIDS service organizations worldwide.  After all, this week also marked World AIDS Day: an occasion on which to call attention to the epidemic that still plagues the world, and has had a huge negative impact on the lives of actors and artists over the past 30 years.

First on my wish list
The 2010 Broadway Cares Snow Globe.  At almost eight inches high, it's quite heavy and serves as a beautiful art piece.  It features the artwork from over 20 Broadway shows, multidimensional artwork, and the inner workings even spin as music plays ("There's No Business like Show Business"). - $80 (More Info / Buy)
